If you are interested in an interdisciplinary, family-centered approach to Early Childhood Special Education, Children’s Therapy Center offers exciting opportunities for you as a graduate student. We are happy to partner with many universities to offer challenging internship/affiliation placements filled with opportunities to expand your knowledge and gain teaching experience. During your placement you will be paired with experienced teachers as instructors/supervisors and be immersed in a culture of learning and teaming that is exciting and that will help prepare you for your future career.

Our placements include a strong teaching component. You will participate in one-on-one home-based services as well as have opportunities to develop classroom management skills in an Early Childhood Special Education classroom. Your time with us will cover interdisciplinary content so that you become familiar with roles of other service providers and begin to understand the holistic approach necessary to serve children and families with excellence.

Finally, we encourage your full participation as a member of our team. You will experience staff meetings and problem solving sessions, and be included in all in-service and team building opportunities.
