Job description:

2pm-4pm (Saturdays)

This is an in-person teaching position only for a teacher of Chinese Mandarin.

You must speak Chinese and have experience teaching young children.

We are seeking a responsible, motivated, and caring teacher to teach a group of 8-10 children ranging from 5-10 years old, so you will need to have experience working with young children. All curriculum materials are provided but you will need to plan your lesson every week.

Our classes are held on Saturday afternoon from 2-4pm in Flushing.

Ideal candidates should have:

• an interest in inspiring young minds

• previous experience working with children, or teaching experience

• fluency in Mandarin Chinese and the ability to teach the language to beginners

Responsibilities include:

• creating an assessment for students to determine their proficiency level

• developing a curriculum with detailed lesson plans for each class

providing relevant teaching resources and materials

supervising the progress of each student
