    CLASSIFICATION: EXEMPT

    JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME

    REPORTS TO: CHIP 1 EXCHANGE – COO

    PRIMARY PURPOSE: Maximize organizational growth, revenue, and profitability by achieving organization’s short- and long-term strategic objectives and targets through leading sales teams, overseeing the team day-to-day activities and securing sales transactions. 

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    ·Take responsibility for sales team performance, by setting clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against the goals, ensuring feedback, and addressing performance problems and issues promptly to ultimately drive GP growth. Monitor monthly, quarterly and annual sales team figures, conducting Quarterly performance reviews with sales team to assess individual results and areas for improvement and support.

    ·Oversee day-to-day activity of sales team, while orienting, training, delegating, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees when necessary. Also, enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

    ·Develop and hold regular training focusing on call coaching, pipeline management (from qualifying to closing the deal), value selling, and negotiations to secure sales transactions and improve GP.

    ·Assist HR in talent identification, attraction and hiring to expand the sales team in support of company growth and client’s needs.

    ·Assist HR in the development of strategies related to sales team performance, growth, compensation and benefits. Including approving PTO requests and timecards in the system.

    ·Inspire and motivate your sales team on a daily basis, recognizing and rewarding accomplishments and contributions to drive employee retention.

    ·Develop and refine best practices, and ensure adherence to XCRM usage and data integrity, to improve decision-making and maximize profitability.

    ·Make ongoing key accounts’ calls in order to cultivate leads and potential clients. Perform follow-ups and constant interaction with customers, secure sales transactions, negotiate prices, follow up on past invoices, monitor purchase/shipments, input data to CRM, etc.

    ·Monitor all active purchase orders/shipments (sales team orders and own key accounts’ orders) to make sure all are completed on time.

    ·Improve existing franchise line sales revenue.

    ·Attend industry tradeshows and travel to customers (client visits) when needed and when requested by management, to represent the company, maintaining and expanding client database to grow revenue.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    ·Managerial Experience: at least 5 years in a managerial role, success and team management in the electronic component distribution industry

    ·Sales Experience: at least 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record

    ·Communication skills: strong communication abilities (both verbal and written), with the capacity to convince and persuade, internal and external stakeholders, including employees, clients, and executives up to the C-suite level

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    ·Work primarily in office setting but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting

    ·Ability to travel up to 50%

    ·Working hours may include evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates to facilitate the communication overseas
