  • Responsibilities

    Chiropractic therapy assistants work directly alongside the chiropractor. This job involved a hands-on direct approach with the patient, by assisting with physiotherapy, as well as work collaboratively with other medical physicians.

    Essential Job Duties:

    • Learning / Performing / Educating patients on physiotherapy.
    • Initial patient intake and taking detailed history / entering new patient notes into EMR.
    • Ability to answer phone and learn scheduling system to help as needed.
    • Taking inventory, ordering products, and putting away – keeping closets organized. Regular cleaning of the office.
    • Assisting with patient flow as needed.
    • Assist with clerical duties of front desk when needed.

    Requirement Traits:

    • Reliability, multitasker, good listener, good communication skills, people oriented.
    • English required.
    • Additional Spanish speaking a plus!

    Working Environment:

    • Standard use of office equipment. i.e. with phones, faxes, computers.
    • Learning and performing use of medical equipment.
    • This is a physical role. Be able to move / lift patients if necessary. Able to be on feet assisting doctor / patients.
    • Be able to communicate to patients and or doctor in person and over the phone.
    • Be able to visually to understand patient charts.
    • Be able to listen and hear the doctor and or patients in person or over the phone.
