    Our NYC-based client, a leader in the baby + kids space, is looking for a bright, self-motivated, creative Social Media Manager. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the candidate will create the communication strategy and own day-to-day execution across channels while building a community of brand advocates. The candidate should be passionate about being the voice of the brand and staying up to date on social trends in order to drive brand awareness and build an engaged community. We expect the salary to be $85K.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create the organic content strategy to build and scale current (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest) and emerging (TikTok) social channels, creating a unified brand voice across channels
    • Inform both the organic and paid social content briefs for photography and video, with a focus on helping to accelerate our video strategy and content
    • Create, manage, and implement the social media calendar across channels, owning day-to-day scheduling, posting, and responding
    • Analyze the latest industry/category and platform trends, best-in-class practices, and competitive activity across channels to inform content development
    • Develop and execute the influencer strategy and outreach; identify and recruit influencers for both content creation and amplification to drive brand reach
    • Monitor and organize UGC for use across channels
    • Track and report social channel performance to quantify the effectiveness of the overall strategy and campaigns
    • Develop and foster relationships with like-minded brands, influencers, and industry professionals to create meaningful collaborations that drive brand awareness and engagement with new audiences
    • Build and nurture MVPs and brand ambassadors via existing (MVP Facebook group) and new channels
    • Collaborate with Brand Marketing and eComm teams to create engaging content and amplify the marketing calendar via social and influencer activities

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications
    • Experience managing social channels for a brand with a proven track record of growing followers
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong collaborator who enjoys working cross-functionally
    • Passion for staying on top of social media trends and building a community of brand advocates
    • Experience and passion for the baby/parenting space is a plus!
