    Our NYC-based top ranked law firm is seeking a Temporary Legal Recruiting Assistant to provide administrative support to the Legal Recruiting Coordinator and Legal Recruiting Manager through October. This is a great way to jumpstart your career and get current, relevant, and prestigious office experience on your resume! New grads are welcome! Candidates MUST be smart, eager and extremely organized with great communication skills. Candidates must be ok with late hours, as there is A LOT of work to be done. Candidate must pay very strong attention to detail and feel comfortable with data entry. Please note the selected candidate will need to be vaccinated against COVID-19. The hourly rate will be based on experience.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist with preparing orientation materials for summer associates and fall associates.
    • Assist in executing events for the summer associate program.
    • Assist with the administration of the summer associate project board and run reports as required.
    • Serve as a point of contact for lawyers, summer associates and candidates.
    • Assist with administrative tasks preparing for on-campus interviews.
    • Assist in coordinating interviews for summer associate candidates.
    • Send interview schedules to interviewing lawyers and candidates.
    • Track and file incoming resumes and maintains recruiting databases.
    • Collect candidate evaluations and assist in compiling packets and reports for hiring committee meetings.
    • Send letters and other miscellaneous communication to candidates.
    • Process applicant expenses and handle correspondence with other firms with regard to shared expenses.
    • Keep track of inventory of marketing materials and orders additional supplies, as needed, for recruiting purposes.
    • Must be able to work overtime during busy periods and attend recruiting events.

    Qualifications:

    Education and/or Experience:

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Preferred:

    • Proficiency in advanced functions of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Experience working with databases (LawCruit) would be a plus.
