Title: Transportation Manager

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

We are seeking a dedicated Transportation Manager to join our dynamic team at a thriving commercial provisions company. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring seamless and timely delivery operations, emphasizing cost-effectiveness and top-notch customer service. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, hands-on, and adept at managing tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage employees to optimize schedules, ensuring efficient use of time while maintaining high standards of safety, service, and quality.
• Ensure timely completion of all required forms and reports by employees on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with relevant management to ensure adherence to all guidelines and compliance standards.
• Lead the hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary processes for all transportation department employees.
• Provide training to employees, emphasizing the highest level of customer service for the company.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid CDL License.
• Minimum of 7 years in a transportation supervisory role.
• Previous management experience, demonstrating direct supervision of employees with guidance and direction.
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain department policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
