We are looking for a college student to work with us Monday - Friday 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. and sometimes later into the evenings when we have events/dinners (usually a few times during the month). We live in Moraga. About Us: We have two kids, Sienna (8) who is in 3rd grade and Lucas (6) who is in Kindergarten. They are both sweet, funny, curious and well behaved. Sienna is into gymnastics, swimming and tennis. Lucas loves all sports but especially baseball, soccer, and flag football. They LOVE their babysitters and always grow fondly of them. We moved to the Bay Area from Washington D.C. 8 years ago. We are two busy parents with full time jobs in the technology and energy sectors. We've had 2 Au Pairs over the past 5 years (who we are still close with) and now that our kids are older and in school our care needs are less. On the weekends we hang out at the pool, play or watch sports with our kids or go on small local trips around the area. We are easy going and trusting and expect the same with the people who take care of our kids. Details: * Pick up the kids daily from school. You will be provided our car while driving. * Drive to sports practice a few times a week * Provide healthy snacks to the kids after school or make dinner if asked * Encourage the kids to pick up after themselves. Help out in keeping the house put together w/ the kids things in the right place (ie shoes put away vs thrown in front of the door) * There will be a few times during the month where Chris and I have dinners or evening events and would like for you to stay late. We will provide at least a weeks notice before the event. Ideal Candidate: * Flexible and able to go with the flow with a busy schedule * Organized and attentive * Willing and able to cook (I set a menu every week and provide the recipe) * Attentive in helping the kids with small amounts of homework * Safe driver
