As Controller, you will be responsible for the management of the financial status of the organization, Responsible for the establishment of all accounting department operations/procedures/compliance and management of the accounting department team.

What you will do:
- Develops and executes accounting control procedures and processes.
- Works closely with external CPA and IRS auditors to ensure compliance of regulatory requirements.
- Works closely with financial institutes to maintain a stable financial position and cash flow. Negotiates with financial institutes on bank rates for loans and business accounts, financing terms, and equity line options.
- Oversees accounting team to ensure best practice for legal accounting recordkeeping requirements.
- Directs accounting team in the preparation of complete, true and accurate reports in accordance with applicable accounting principles.
- Prepares weekly sales, inventory, and production reports along with monthly financial statements for management review.
- Responsible for assuring bi-weekly payroll is processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Oversees accounting staff in tasks such as bank and account reconciliations, processing of vendor and customer invoices, and processing of vendor payments including domestic and international wire payments.
- Compiles, interprets and analyzes company financial reports and ad hoc reports for management.
- Monitors company cash flow by overseeing deposits, payment reconciliations and cash management.
- Selects, hires, trains and supervises accounting team to accomplish set projects and goals.
- Monitors accounting team performance and conducts 90 day and annual reviews.
- Conducts any disciplinary action when needed.
What you will need:
- BS Degree in Accounting and at least three years of experience in the accounting field.
- Strong leadership skills and coaching skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and follow-up.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to establish and maintain excellent customer/vendor relationships.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
