  • Responsibilities

    Role Purpose:

    This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and making modifications to equipment and plant facilities and providing backup to perform chemical handling for the facility.

    Responsibilities:

    · Must obtain a forklift license.

    · Become a member of ERT, and ability to attend training sessions.

    · Analyze and rectify machine, facility, and process difficulties.

    · Complete machine Preventative maintenance Program duties as scheduled.

    · Follow all safety policies and working practices.

    · Maintain documentation of technical reference material

    · This position requires infrequent daily and/or weekend overtime. Fill in during vacation days/personal days.

    · Perform all other duties and tasks as identified by facility leadership.

    Qualifications:

    · Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training equivalent combination of education and experience.

    · Desired technical school certificate of completion or trade school certificate.

    · Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

    · Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

    · Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

    · Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and roportions to practical situations.

    · Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical ingerence, and

    · Agility – Hand/Eye coordination Communication – interpersonal, oral, and written mechanical use of hand-held tools

    · Knowledge of/and compliance with Safety regulations.

    · Be dependable and have a good attendance record.

    · Self-starter with demonstrated continuous improvement traits, effective a working independently.

    · Perform tasks through to completion.
