    SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION

    The best Master Technicians can multitask because of their highly refined process management skills. They are driven and highly productive making them efficient but they are well organized and skillful making them highly accurate successfully producing high volumes of work with near zero comebacks on all lines of mechanical repair on both gasoline and diesel passenger cars and trucks. They keep up with training to understand the latest technologies to diagnose and repair the latest problems with Domestic, Asian and European models. They enjoy reaping the rewards of their advanced productivity often reaping a six-figure income. They are not afraid to share their knowledge with less experienced technicians as they have a strong team commitment understanding success among the team provides success for their career.

    THEY WILL:

    • CONDUCT A COMPREHENSIVE INSPECTION OF EVERY VEHICLE ASSIGNED: During the first 30 days prepare recommendations to refine the digital inspection process to ensure master of a comprehensive list of recommendations. Prepare careful customer centric explanations for testing and repair including detailed listing of correct parts as needed.
    • COMMAND TECHNOLOGY AND USE OF TOOLS: Exceed 125% efficiency while leveraging the use of technology and tools to quickly and accurately repair vehicles/Flag more than 40 hours per week with minimal/zero at-fault comebacks
    • USE A DETAILED APPROACH TO THE REPAIR PROCESS:  Exhibit mastery of a repair process which ensures an accurate process which produces 98% accuracy or 2% or less return rate.
    • HIGHLY ENJOY AND EMBRACE NEW TECHNOLOGY: Be a leader in seeking out and participating in the latest training and material addressing the newest of technology and a resource for the team.
    • DRIVE THE TEMPO OF THE SHOP:  Efficiency and speed should be an example of efficiency setting the pace for accomplishing on time participation and delivery of repairs
    • EMBRACE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE ON ANY REPAIR CHALLENGE:  Be able to handle any passenger vehicle problem with command, applying repair theory, resource information and practice to solve any concern without remanding to another expert.

    We are looking for technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our customers.

    Qualifications

    We are looking for established technicians that enjoy performing at the highest level in the industry. A Senior Master Technician for needs to have:

    • at least 10-15 years successfully repairing all makes and models of passenger cars and trucks
    • less than 2% at-fault returns due to a deficiency in the repair handling.
    • expert knowledge in repair theory, application and diagnostic skills
    • expert use of technology to efficiently repair vehicles
    • repair time efficiency at a rate of 125% or higher.

    • willingness to share their knowledge for the effectiveness of the team.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by any applicant in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Automotive Technician must:

    • Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
    • Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
    • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.
    • Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
    • Walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
    • Drive manual transmission vehicles.
    • Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
    • Efficiently navigate a computer and tablet
