    Job Description

    This opportunity is part of the Marketing Coaching team, which is responsible for working side-by-side with Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) franchisees to drive leads to, and build awareness for, their CBA stores. As the Marketing Onboarding Intern, you will be exposed to the behind the scenes process that goes into marketing new and existing stores as well as preparing new franchisees for executing on the marketing and advertising tactics for their businesses. 

    We are looking for a fun, hardworking, positive person with energy, enthusiasm and integrity, who can work in a fast-paced environment. 

    Each member of the Marketing Coaching team acts as a consultant: planning and executing local marketing strategies, aiding in achieving annual goals for reaching guests and for franchisee interaction, and introducing new marketing opportunities to franchisees. Our business is built on the foundation of loving your neighbor as yourself and a key function of this role is ensuring that the Marketing Coaching team is showing servant leadership to our franchisees. 

    Your responsibilities through the intern program may include, but are not limited to, the following: 

    • Prepare assets and data for Marketing Coaching Calls including budgets, campaign performance, and creative pieces

    • Manage design requests, update social media listings & monitor digital pages for proper setup (local website, Google listing, Facebook) 

    • Support on-time delivery of franchisee marketing requests including strategy, creative, and messaging 

    • Review and present opportunities for new training to provide to franchisees on local marketing best practices, including digital marketing, direct mail, PR, grassroots, email marketing, etc. 

    • Create and outline recommended social media posts for new store openings

    EDUCATION: 

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

    EXPERIENCE: 

    • Solid understanding of general marketing best practices including traditional advertising, digital marketing, direct mail, and grassroots marketing

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

    • Friendly and energetic demeanor, loves helping people and a relationship builder 
    • Strong phone communication and listening skills 
    • Upbeat, takes initiative, dependable, takes pride in work, and works well within a team 
    • The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

    Additional Information

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position requires multitasking while maintaining a high degree of both responsiveness and accuracy. Standard business dress is required from time-to time; neat and appropriate attire is always required. 

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: 

    • Communicate clearly with others using a computer, phone, and other technology. 
    • Prepare items for shipping, receive, & unbox shipments, lift up to 50 lbs.

     

    WORK HOURS: 

    Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work from home privileges are available so long as job responsibilities are being fulfilled, and are subject to approval by the Controller. Reliable transportation to and from the office is expected from an employee; similarly, the ability to access internet and phone connectivity is expected to maintain work from home privileges.
