    Job Overview:

    Christian Brothers Automotive is thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Gretna, scheduled for May 2024.

    We are seeking a dedicated Shuttle Driver & Social Media Coordinator to provide safe and comfortable transportation for customers and to craft a social media strategy that aligns with the brand's goals. This dual role requires a commitment to exceptional customer service, a passion for social media, and a desire to be a key player in the growth of Christian Brothers Automotive. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about interacting with people, creative in their approach to online engagement, and ready to take on the challenges of a dynamic work environment.
    The initial focus will be approximately 70% on shuttle driving and 30% on social media, with the balance evolving as the Gretna location becomes busier.

    Interviews will begin in March 2024, and we look forward to finding the right individual to join the team!

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Shuttle Service:
      • Serve as the primary shuttle driver, ensuring a safe, reliable, and friendly service for our guests, and embodying the Christian Brothers Automotive commitment to providing a nice difference.
      • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, and maintain a clean and organized shuttle environment.
      • Coordinate shuttle routes efficiently and notify the service manager of any maintenance needs for the vehicle.
    • Social Media Coordination:
      • Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with our company's goals, enhancing our brand's online presence.
      • Engage with the community on social media platforms, creating content that resonates with our audience and reflects Christian Brothers Automotive values.
      • Monitor social media trends and leverage insights to optimize our social media efforts.
      • Participate in grassroots marketing initiatives to promote our services and engage with the local community.
      • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
    • Additional Responsibilities:
      • Support the front-of-shop team by answering phones, greeting guests, and assisting with various customer service tasks.
      • Contribute to back-office tasks as needed, such as statement reconciliation and customer follow-ups.
      • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, vendors, and customers.
    • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record that meets insurance requirements.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute positively to a team atmosphere.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software for managing social media content and scheduling.
    • Familiarity with social media platforms and an interest in developing social media marketing skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail.
    • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.

    Physical Requirements:

    • The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
    • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
    • Being dependable for a position that is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
