Christopher Architecture & Interiors has an immediate opening for an Interior Designer with 3-5+ Years’ Experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with clients to define project requirements and develop design criteria
• Undertake design project from concept to completion
• Conduct site visits and attends construction meetings
• Leads client presentations
• Produces construction documents and specifications
• Reviews shop drawings and submittals for approval
• Co-manages interior design team alongside Project Designer to ensure budget, schedule and client expectations are met
• Email correspondence with clients on weekly basis
• Selects furniture, materials, décor and finishes
• Work within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion
• Travel to remote job sites
• Attend trade shows
• On-site for major installations
• On-site for photoshoots and staging
• Meet with reps and maintain good-standing relationships
• Market to new clients and maintain existing client relationships
• Coordinate internally with project architect, contractor, and project consultants
• Weekly correspondence with clients

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and/or Interior Architecture
• 3-5+ years’ relevant interior design experience
• Responsible for producing high quality project design deliverables in both FF&E and construction documents.
• AutoCAD / Revit proficiency is required
• NCIDQ accredited
• Organized, efficient and able to work well and lead others
• Exhibits strong professional skills and presents themselves accordingly
• Excellent communication skills
• Maintains a positive attitude
