This is an 11 week unpaid but well compensated internship opportunity in magical Thailand! The Christopher Robert Project provides sustainable public health solutions and village education for Thailand's tribal residents in remote villages.

Jungle Water Adventure Study is seeking individuals interested in teaching villagers of all ages to lead healthier lives through safe water education and WaSH practices. You will prepare lesson plans and engaging educational activities on-campus and visit remote tribal villages two days a week to put your plans into practice. As an essential part of our field education and delivery teams, CHPs design and deliver wellness campaigns, community-based health promotion and learning activities.

Your 11 week adventure has a competitive program fee of $6995 with int'l airfare or $5895 without.

You will -Research, identify and utilize WaSH resources -Explain the range of health impacts from inadequate WaSH and how they can be prevented -Properly conduct field water analysis, review results and document impact -Understand the practicalities surrounding community water supply and related environmental health issues

Duties -Researching WaSH best case practices -Create lesson plans -Use teaching aids provided by CAWST -Create a village learning center for classes and field water analysis -Other duties as assigned

Requirements -Ability to work on a team and independently -A passion for teaching or nursing -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Knowledge of one or more of the following: public health, health or hygiene promotion, community development, education, or community water advocate
