    Job Description

    Essential Job Functions

    • Execute Junior and Senior High events and programs
    • Cast the overall CCV & Students Ministry vision with parents and volunteers
    • Provide pastoral care for families and coaches
    • Recruit, train, and retain volunteers for all weekend areas and events
    • Develop and maintain school campus involvement
    • Following up with first-time students
    • Collect and report accurate weekly attendance according to established standards and deadlines
    • Work with the team to plan and execute various church-wide events. These may include, but are not limited to:
      • Kick-off events
      • Easter
      • Christmas Eve

    • A passion for reaching the lost
    • Personal integrity in all areas of life
    • Must be – or willing to become – a participating member of CCV
    • Regularly attends worship services with their family
    • Children (if applicable) must participate in their age group's programming.
    • Is an active participant in a group and regularly tithes
    • Flexible with a team mentality

    • Leadership Skills – is able to trust, coach, and guide people to influence others. Continually communicates overall vision and purpose effectively.
    • Drive for Results – Steadfastly pushes self and others for results. Is action-oriented and displays focus, passion & initiative. Takes appropriate action when something needs to be done.

    Education and Experience

    • 2 years minimum experience leading a ministry of youth and volunteers
    • Degree in Youth Ministry preferred, however training or proven experience in the field will be considered
    • Athletic team experience is helpful
    • Software and technology skills is a bonus
