    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Safety mindset is required. Operating safely is of paramount importance to our company and our employees.
    • Perform line operating procedures, cleaning procedures and general duties assigned by your supervisor.
    • Assure that all process control conditions are maintained within their allowable range as specified on the batch ticket. Make adjustments as necessary to achieve these conditions.
    • Immediately notify supervision if:
    • Fills out paperwork efficiently and accurately.
    • Maintain your work area. This includes:
    • Other duties as needed. Must be able to multi-task and be flexible to be productive at all times and do what is needed to serve our customers.
    • A process control condition cannot be maintained.
    • Any visual observation of the product or raw materials indicates a potential problem (i.e. contamination).
    • There is any indication of machine problems or failure including the scales.
    • Keeping all raw materials and finished goods organized, clean and secure.
    • Keeping the floor or platform swept and free of debris including, around and under machinery and platforms.
    • Keeping the machinery as clean as possible.
    • Keeping tools and plant supplies in their proper place when not in use.
    • Consolidating trash for removal.

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
    • Experience in manufacturing, industrial or warehouse settings preferred but not required.
    • Availability to occasionally work overtime and on Saturdays.
    • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (including but not limited to lifting up to 55 pounds and moving up to 250 pounds, frequent overhead work, bend & squat & stoop, and climb stairs as well as standing and/or walking for long periods of time).
    • Able to wear all Personal Protective Equipment for safety and environmental regulations.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Successful candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and pre-employment background check.
