    SUMMARY: This position is responsible for directing census development and implementing business strategies across each community. This position also works with each center''s Admission Coordinators and Director of Community Relations to develop, implement, and evaluate the community''s sales and marketing plan in order to meet all business and profitability goals to ensure strong customer and referrer responsiveness, appropriate market penetration and to promote positive company brand. In addition to supporting the Company''s mission, vision, core values, and provide excellent customer service to associates, residents, visitors and guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Utilize and review census, benchmark, referral and outcome data to account for all sales activities to report to Director of Operations and Vice President of Operations.
    • Works with the Director of Marketing Initiatives & Sales Strategy to meet budgeted goals and develop strategy in order to drive census.
    • Will assist in the development of special events on-site and off-site to further generate community awareness and exposure both at a center and company level.
    • Have reliable and available transportation, including a valid driver''s license and proof of car insurance due to spending roughly 75% of their work week traveling to the various communities, shadowing and strategizing sales calls, gathering referrals and establishing clear communication measures between the referral source and communities.
    • Work closely with center management to assure qualified, competent associates are hired and trained in the role of Admissions/Marketing positions as well as actively coaching and training admissions/marketing team through hands on training in the field, which might include weekly census/marketing meetings and/or coaching calls.
    • Develop strategies across regional level with collaboration of operations team that result in revenue/occupancy enhancement.
    • Assist centers with skills to plan and prioritize opportunities to include fostering relationships to meet and exceed strategic marketing plan goals.
    • Attend regional meetings as needed to inform and educate on sales/marketing programs as well as provide up-dates on key referral development.

    Required Experience

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum 4-year degree or equivalent experience in sales and marketing required.
    • Minimum of three (3) years experience in health care sales/marketing/insurance with a basic understanding of sales and/or marketing leadership role with a preference in the Seniors Housing industry, specifically Skilled Nursing.
    • Long term care experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and coach innovative census and marketing strategies resulting in increased census mix. Proven ability to be creative and flexible in executing multi-faceted problem solving.
    • Proven understanding of payer sources, specifically Medicare, Medicaid, Short Term Skilled and Private Pay, with the ability to identify appropriate referral sources for each.
    • Demonstrated success in communicating clearly and appropriately with the administrator, care team, referral sources, residents and families.
    • Demonstrated experience in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
