    Reporting to the General Counsel and Chief Governance Officer this role provides effective and integrated delivery of legal services to Z and ensures that enterprise legal risks are appropriately managed across the business. 

     

    Working closely with our Customer team you’ll provide upfront advice and support to Z’s Customer Experience Operating Model.  

     

    Outgoing, energetic and upbeat, you’ll be comfortable working at pace and getting alongside our Customer Team to quickly get to the heart of issues, risks and opportunities and provide legal support and guidance related to privacy, ensuring customer offers and marketing initiatives are created with respect for our customers’ personal information privacy and security at the forefront. 

     

    Well informed on cases going to the ASA, Commerce Commission and Privacy Commission as well as related law reform in NZ and overseas, you’ll ensure that Z is ahead of any material legal risk in  for the customer team and will enjoy collaborating with and upskilling the Customer team to build their knowledge and capability. 

     

    Down to earth and commercially astute with an innovative, creative outlook you’ll be comfortable working at pace delivering legal advice, which is commercial, clear and pragmatic, including informally and on your feet. 

     

    Ideally, you’ll bring to this role extensive post qualification experience in general commercial law, company, privacy and consumer law gained in a major law firm and/or from working in-house. Experience working within teams using agile ways of working would be a real benefit. 

     

    And of course, you’ll be passionate about what matters to Z and helping us deliver on our aspirations.

    2. Must be able to lift and carry small clinic equipment (exercise equipment, oxygen tanks, supplies, etc.
    3. Must be able to move (walk, bend, stand, sit, push, pull, lift) intermittently throughout the workday.
    4. Must be constantly alert for patient/resident
