    Job Description

    SUMMARY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:

    Supporting the Item Unique Identification (IUID) project in support of the Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCCS-MC) Program Management Office. The Logistics Analyst position is responsible for direct on-site support of IUID marking and assisting the IUID Site Manager (ISM) with regional support of the IUID Program.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Provide direct, on-site support of IUID marking
    • Responsible for assisting the IUID Site Manager (ISM) tasked with IUID marking of Marine Corp ground equipment
    • Coordinate with Government customer for access to equipment requiring IUID marking
    • Serve as a liaison with equipment points of contact and field support representatives
    • Locate equipment designated to be IUID marked
    • Provide quality assurance by ensuring proper surface preparation and affixing labels to COMSEC equipment; i.e. Principle end items and secondary repairables per established marking instruction methodology
    • Validate machine readable information on data plates using Automated Information Technology scanners
    • Validate Human Readable Information (HRI) on existing equipment data plates
    • Support development of IUID discrepancy reports
    • Support various tasks that require electrical, electronic, or mechanical knowledge
    • Assist with maintaining applicable Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
    • Provide input to weekly report metrics
    • Provide customer care and regional technical support for IUID equipment and instructions
    • Provide local and regional training as required on IUID equipment and supporting policy
    • Any other duties as assigned

    JOB REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS):

    MANDATORY

    • United States Citizen
    • Ability to obtain and maintain clearance level up to a NACI

    PREFERRED

    • Knowledge of and experience with DoD/USMC IUID Program.
    • 3+ years of related experience
