    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Manages CGRC Tribal Member Career Development Program (TMCDP) to design program elements, foster effective and beneficial community partnerships to support program, facilitates Team Member enrollment, monitors participation and progress, and provides recognition for successful completion of program elements by participants. 

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Facilitates Tribal Team Member career assessments to determine career goals and identify program options to support goal achievement.

    • Partners closely with PRCI Educational and Career Services department and local educational institutions to identify appropriate areas of study and establish progressive career path targets.

    • Attends special events with PRCI to build awareness of the TMCDP among Tribal Members who are not currently employed with CGRC.

    • Performs regular outreach regarding the benefits of the TMCDP to Tribal Team Members to build awareness and increase participation in the program.

    • Facilitates Tribal Orientation for newly hired Tribal Members.

    • Identifies and leverages community programs to augment CGRC learning and work study programs.

    • Administrates submission and tracking of payments and reimbursements to PRCI for tuition assistance and computer purchase assistance.

    • Administrates study-hours payroll entries for participating Tribal Team Members.

    • Partners with Training department to develop and facilitate in-house career training (job readiness, leadership effectiveness, professionalism, etc.).

    • May assist with preparation and/or facilitation of HR Team Meetings.

    • Manages internship programs to include developing internship job descriptions, intern selection, develop learning objectives, schedule work rotations, and track and monitor rotation assessments and progress.

    • Assists department leaders to identify or create practical task assignments and job skills curriculum to fulfill educational and work experience objectives of internship programs.

    • Provides program guidance to participants, leaders, and other HR team members.

    • Manages program budget to goals.

    • Tracks and monitors program utilization, participant progress and achievements, and prepares reports for management review, as required.

    • May assist &/or provide temporary coverage to other specialty areas in HR (training, benefits, recruiting, team relations, or administration).

    • Assists with Team Member Engagement Activities.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree in career education, career guidance, organizational development, or related field required. 
    • Two years of experience in career guidance or organizational learning/development curriculum design required. 
    • Experience facilitating career assessment tests preferred but not required.  
    • Must be able to successfully multitask and monitor multiple projects at once.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
