JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Interim Security Corporal is responsible for properly executing security duties on assigned shifts to adequately protect the life and property of Guests, Team Members, and all other visitors to the property as well as protecting CGRC's property and assets.  Interim Security Corporals are selected for this temporary role to benefit from the opportunity to receive on-the-job training and skills development in department policies, procedures, operational operating procedures, and staff supervision.  Placement to the role of Interim Security Corporal does not guarantee or secure position advancement or promotion. Incumbents in this role will return to the Security Officer position following completion of training rotation to await promotional opportunity testing and interviews.

Job Responsibilities

• Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members in a positive and professional manner.
• Delivers excellent customer service at all times.
• Monitors all areas of the property at all times, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting them to the appropriate individual or entity for proper resolution.
• Protects company assets and integrity through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on property. Utilizes necessary equipment to identify, record, document and report illegal, suspicious or unusual activities occurring on the property.
• Supervises Security Officers on assigned shift.
• Escorts and observes customers and Team Members to ensure their safety and protection; identifies potential safety hazards, and reports same to the appropriate individuals, for proper resolution.
• Generates necessary written reports regarding security-related incidents involving customers, Team Members, and/or the facility.
• Assists with providing leadership, training and knowledge to all new Security Officers in the Field Training Program and refresher training provided to Security Officers I and II.
• Participates in the field training of all new Security Officers.
• Assumes the duties and responsibilities of Security Sergeant in his/or her absence from the property, as assigned.
• Becomes familiar with hazardous materials used on property and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing same.
• Acts as a Dispatcher during emergency situations and coordinates solutions to same; informs outside agencies of any unusual or suspicious situations on property.
• Operates company vehicles as directed.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required. 
• Minimum of one year experience in law enforcement or gaming security required.
• One year experience in Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino security department preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with closed circuit television equipment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required. 
• Must be flexible in the hours, days and shifts.
