SUMMARY:

Responsible for maintaining the electronic key control system, performing audits, and performing regular maintenance of all occupied electronic key control system. Responsible maintaining security access to sensitive areas throughout the property, maintenance keys, keying locks, unlocking doors and/or file cabinets for authorized Employees, vendors, and guests ensuring the protection of Company property and assets.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must be computer-literate with proficiency in appropriate software. Must have administrative skills and possess excellent communication skills. Must have a mechanical aptitude and knowledge and experience in the use of hand and power tools. Must be willing to learn the Key Technician duties, responsibilities and methods through continued training on equipment and new technologies. Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality within the department and the Company. Must be available for all shifts. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
