JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the receipt, verification, storage, and record keeping of materials received and shipped.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verifies and maintains records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Check all incoming product for quality.
- Assist Inventory Control with the receiving process for inventoried items.
- Receives all packages shipped via FedEx, UPS, DHL or other carriers.
- Marks materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
- Moves products to storage or delivers to designated areas in a timely manner.
- Cooperates with Accounts Payable and Inventory Control in the verification of orders received.
- Maintain receiving files and insures that they are organized.
- Performs routine clerical duties associated with the position.
- Maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or GED required
- Three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
