SUMMARY:

Responsible for the development and support of custom Internet and Intranet business applications that interface with multiple databases. Working on both front-end and back-end design and development. Maintains and implements development projects as assigned by IT Management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Highly skilled with C#, .NET Core (including MVC), MS SQL.
• Solid database experience (relational databases and object oriented databases).
• Integrating creative designs and user experience functionality.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services.
• Building and maintaining internal tools to streamline our development process and enhance productivity.
• Promoting and collaborating on our development and coding best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Actively conducting code reviews.
• Experience with Git commands and Team Foundation Server for source control.
• Experience with Visual Studio Tooling.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks including Jquery.
• Experience with CSS, most notably Bootstrap.
• Experience troubleshooting HTML, JavaScript, and CSS issues.
• Experience with managing IIS servers.
• Ability to develop and implement API's.
• Analyzes effectively technical requirements provided in project requests.  Provides options and ramifications of requirement features.
• Maintains knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends and modern web-browser capabilities.
• Facilitates the flow of information throughout the IT Department by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
• Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members and performs excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintains a consistent and regular attendance record.
• Performs any reasonable request made by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:    

Although this position does not directly supervise any one person, the .Net Developer indirectly supervises the activities of all systems on property.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Three years' experience in a development role preferred.  Degree in Computer Science or related area; or three years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. When on the casino floor, the Team Member will be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
