    SUMMARY:

    Responsible for the HVAC Control Systems and individual space temperature controls, plus monitoring, servicing and repairing all Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning equipment for the entire property in accordance with the Company's standards.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

    • Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Performs excellent customer service at all time.

    • Monitors, programs, services and repairs all Roof Top Units (RTU's), Makeup Air Units (MAU's), Variable Air Volume units (VAV's), fan powered boxes, ice makers, walk-in coolers, freezers, beer chillers, yogurt and ice-cream machines and all refrigerators.

    • Maintains working conditions of restaurant equipment including fryers, dishwashers, and stoves, food mixers and buffet line equipment.

    • Monitors and operates the Building Automation temperature control system and makes adjustments to set points and thermostats on heating and air conditioning equipment to keep customers comfortable.

    • Orders parts, receives and stocking parts, and maintains parts inventory.

    • Designs and installs refrigeration and heating and air conditioning equipment.

    • Designs and installs ducting, grills, controls for changes and new additions to heating and air conditioning systems.

    • Maintains Pressure Washers and Air Filters.

    • Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record.

    • Performs any reasonable request made by management.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High School diploma or GED; one year technical training in refrigeration and air conditioning; E.P.A. approved Universal Certification Card; minimum of five years HVAC repair experience.

    SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must be able to work in high or confined spaces.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    REASONING ABILITY:

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

    The Team Member is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration.

    The Team Member is frequently required to work in high or confined spaces.

    The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. When on the casino floor, the Team Member will be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
