    SUMMARY: 

            Responsible for providing all necessary administrative, clerical and secretarial services to the Director of Security and the department.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

    • Interacts effectively with the Public and Team Members.  Performs excellent customer service at all times.

    • Composes, transcribes and types correspondence, memos, reports and other miscellaneous paperwork; prepares outgoing mail; files correspondence, reports and departmental records in appropriate files; prepares schedules for Team Members; and makes travel arrangements.

    • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality within the department.

    • Acts as a resource regarding departmental activities and operations for the Director of Security/Transportation and other department executives.

    • Advises the Director of Security of any relevant or important information pertaining to the responsibilities of the department or the operations of the company.

    • Places and receives telephone communications in a cordial and helpful tone of voice, taking accurate messages as needed and relaying same to the appropriate person(s).

    • Schedules appointments for the Director of Security.

    • Greets visitors, ascertains nature of business, and escorts them to the appropriate individual in the Security Department.

    • Organizes and maintains an accurate filing system of reports filed with the Security and Transportation Departments.

    • Maintains statistical data for the Security Department and prepares various reports with this information.

    • Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.

    • Maintains a working knowledge of the Company's facilities as well as special events on property in order to advise customers and fellow team members when necessary.

    • Ensures to a high degree the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.

    • Follows applicable policies and procedures.

    • Operates company vehicle as directed.

    • Maintains a consistent and regular attendance record.

    • Performs any reasonable request made by management.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

                    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    High school diploma or (GED) required.  Minimum of two-years secretarial experience, preferably in law enforcement, legal field or Gaming.

                    SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must be computer-literate, with proficiency in appropriate software, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power point, and access. Must possess excellent communication skills. Valid driver's license required. Knowledge of and experience with record keeping, filing, and observation skills required. Basic book keeping skills required. Excellent professionalism and phone etiquette is required. Ability to work over time when needed and holidays. Excellent organization and multitasking skills required. Must be self motivated and be able to work under stressful situations. Ability to use FEDEX, DHL, UPS, USPS, or certified Mail.

                    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.  Ability to write correspondence effectively.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers and other Team Members of the company.

                    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

                    REASONING ABILITY:

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding, to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables.

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.  When on the casino floor, the Team Member will be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
