    SUMARRY:

    Responsible for conducting & implementing events and providing an exceptional experience for our guests. Responsible for communicating event information to Team Members and guests.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

    • Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Performs excellent customer service at all items.

    • Implements all promotions and events as assigned.

    • Works within a team to ensure that all items needed to carry out promotions and events are in the appropriate place and in a timely manner, including necessary supplies and decorations.

    • Implements set-up and breakdown of promotional or event setting.

    • Interacts with guests, establishes rapport and answers general questions during the promotion and events.

    • Issue and redeem prizes through the player tracking system or other approved marketing methods.

    • Maintains a working knowledge of all promotions and events in order to effectively explain to guests.

    • May make announcements pertaining to promotions and events using a microphone.

    • Creates an atmosphere of excitement for all casino guests.

    • Acts in a courteous and professional manner and exhibits a positive, outgoing personality.

    • Ensures to a high degree the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports, and for maintaining an exceptional level of customer service and satisfaction.

    • Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record.

    • Ushers as needed by management for events.

    • Performs any reasonable request made by management.

    Temporary/Part-Time Events Staff

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High School diploma or GED Required. Two Years college preferred. Three to six years of related guest service experience required. One to two years of events or promotions experience preferred. Experience working with the public required.

    SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    Ability to effectively perform on one's own is required. Must possess excellent communications skills, verbal and written. Must be organized and detailed-oriented. Must be capable of extensive use in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Computer skills required. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be able to effectively resolve problems, based on common-sense use of reasoning ability, as well as knowledge of established company policies. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Bilingual Spanish preferred.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Team Members of company.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    REASONING ABILITY:

    Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The Team Member will regularly be required to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
