SUMMARY: Responsible for keeping assigned grounds and outside areas clean and free of debris, presenting the Company's customers a safe and pleasant sight. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Perform excellent customer service at all time.

• Responsible for removing all trash from assigned areas.  

• Maintains all trash receptacle areas, ensuring all trash is in and not strewn around the area.

• Maintains lawn areas by mowing, edging and keeping lawns free of weeds.

• Operates all equipment and uses chemicals in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and in a safe manner.

• Ensures all plant beds are free of weeds, dead flowers, etc.

• Maintain & repair irrigation sprinklers & pipes.

• Maintains appropriate fertilizer and water levels on grass, shrubs, plants, etc.

• Must have valid California drivers license.

• Maintains all lawn equipment; ensures cleanliness and working conditions.

• Any reasonable request made by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED Preferred ground maintenance experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other Team Members of the organization.
