The District Operations Training Manager (DOTM) is the face of Employee Training. They perfect and enhance employee onboarding, training processes, and ensure uniformity across the district. They empower General Managers to lead and develop their Assistant General Managers and Supervisors into better coaches and trainers of employees they select to join our team. They also collaborate with the District Manager and applicable Director to gain their commitment in support of your mission.
Additionally, the DOTM streamlines and manages training systems to find efficiencies and more effective training techniques.
Regular Work Activities -- What are the most frequent and essential work activities in this position?
Continuously create, enhance, and update uniform training standards across district finding efficiencies and generating inspiration for training
Participate in monthly District Operations Training Manager Meetings covering processes and procedures, as well as, high-level training and onboarding topics, challenges, schedules and developments
Ensure General Managers have the support, time, and resources to function in keeping with the vision for their positions which will maximize their effectiveness as a result
Oversee training systems and hold management teams accountable to the training protocols for Operational positions with insight and feedback from Regional Directors of Operations, District Managers, and Director of Operations Training
Communicate with General Managers and empower them to bring fresh ideas to the table and pilot whenever appropriate
Support the District Managers and Kids Club Coordinator as needed, while keeping training and development at the core focus of the role
Assis operationally challenged clubs, and occasionally other districts, whenever possible
Determine key metrics for measuring success within the training process and use the data to demonstrate effectiveness to management teams
Coordinate district-wide training (Orientation, One Culture, CPR Training, Recruiting Workshops, etc.)
Attend and present in Culture Trainings in district
Recruit new talent
Travel Required (Occasional support missions to other districts)
44 - 55 shift hours per week
