    Our Payroll department is growing and we have an exciting Payroll Systems Coordinator opportunity based in San Diego. In this role, you will be making an impact to the employee experience for every single employee at Chuze Fitness. This new role will be an invaluable part of our foundation for success and we are excited to welcome them into our CHUZE family.

    THE POSITION

    This is a an intermediate position that will provide day-to-day functional support for the HRIS, in addition to other systems supported by the Human Resources department. This position will be responsible for compiling data and conducting related analyses, and serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists as subject matter expert with ensuring data integrity, set-up and testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. In the event of an HRIS upgrade or implementation, the Payroll Systems Coordinator will play a major role in the implementation process, as well as the day-to-day changes. This position will also assist in the preparation and processing of the bi-weekly payroll as well as other payroll tasks.

    PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

    Collaborate with the HR and management teams to identify systems gaps and problems and efficiently develop solutions which ensures focus on the employees’ experience.

    Serve as subject matter expert for employees, including the payroll team, regarding HRIS/technology related questions.

    Establish and administer system quality control standards and processes to ensure HRIS processes meet the requirements defined by HR functions.

    Assist with and support regular payroll functions, including but not limited to: assisting with payroll processing, processing employment changes, and managing employee files

    REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

    5+ years Payroll experience, and/or a combination of equivalent education and job experience

    3+ years Web-based HRIS experience

    Experience in managing an HRIS implementation or upgrade

    Technically inclined

    Advanced Excel skills, preferred

    Experience with multi-state, multi-entity payroll for 1000+ employees, preferred
