    Public Relations and Communications Coordinator

We are seeking a new addition to our amazing internal team to help support the marketing health and strategies of CHUZE as we continue to grow.     The Position:

    This new position as the Public Relations and Communications Coordinator will assist in creating and delivering breakthrough internal and external PR to drive buzz for the Chuze Fitness brand. We’re looking for a highly motivated individual with demonstrated strength in public relations, media relations, and crisis response. This position is ideal for holistic thinkers with high accountability, passion for brand engagement, attention to detail, creative spirit with a great communication style.

    Core Duties/Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):

    PR strategies for brand initiatives by working with internal, cross functional, media and agency partners to develop integrated marketing and communications plans

    Drafting and distributing press releases, fact sheets, and media invites, along with any other communication destined to the media and the general public: writing compelling stories for press outreach

    Retain a working knowledge of the branding standards to ensure consistent logos, texts, fonts, colors, etc. on all marketing, company-wide and in-club items

    Ownership of brand company communications documents to ensure consistent logos, texts, fonts, colors, etc. on all marketing, company-wide and in-club items

    Handling all aspects of PR activities and strategies in order to maintain and manage the company’s public image

    Developing and cultivating strong relationships with the media to help generate press opportunities

    Assist in enhancing all internal communications within the company

    Develop key messaging and briefs for campaigns and company initiatives

    Manage influencer marketing campaigns

    Lead cross-functional and agency partners in planning and executing media events.

    Draft interview messaging, talking points, scripts and press materials including statements, fact sheets and press releases

    Brief executives for interview opportunities

    Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications, networking, etc.

    Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

    Bachelors in degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or the equivalent

    2-3 years of PR/Marketing/Communications experience

    Knowledge of AP style

    Incredibly strong writing abilities

    Exceptional verbal and social communication skills

    Expert in social media

    Experience supporting grassroots marketing initiatives and event coordination

    Ability to ideate creative PR and marketing campaigns & to help manufacture news opportunities
