Payroll Systems Coordinator

We are seeking a new addition to our amazing internal team who can fill the role of Payroll Systems Coordinator to help support the Human Resource functions and strategies of CHUZE as we continue to grow. This role will be an invaluable part of our foundation for success and we are excited to welcome them into our CHUZE family.
The Position:
This position will provide day-to-day functional support for the HRIS, in addition to other systems supported by the Human Resources department, and will be responsible for compiling data and conducting related analyses. This position serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists as subject matter expert with ensuring data integrity, set-up and testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. In the event of an HRIS upgrade or implementation, the Payroll Systems Coordinator will play a major role. This position will also assist in the preparation and processing of the bi-weekly payroll as well as other payroll functions.
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop information-reporting requirements, specifications and user reporting capabilities to extract data for a wide range of human resources reporting and for executive decision-making
Process New Hires, Changes, and Termination requests
Assist in processing bi-weekly payroll, with a goal of performing a Full-Service payroll
Perform and oversee activities necessary for processing payroll
Manage the HRIS development and support process to prioritize and execute requests for changes and/or enhancements to HRIS
Process VOE requests
Maintain and secure employee files in an organized and easily understood manner
Occasionally attend off-site seminars and trainings
Act as an additional point of contact for employees with payroll related items
Be mindful of any areas of concern or inefficiency, bringing both issues and possible solutions to the team
Have a working knowledge of the stores, their offerings, how they operate, and their staff procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned; duties may vary as the company grows

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
5+ years Payroll experience, and/or a combination of equivalent education and job experience
2+ years Web-based HRIS experience
Technically inclined
Experience in managing an HRIS implementation or upgrade
Advanced Excel skills, preferred
Experience with multi-state, multi-entity payroll for 1000+ employees, preferred
Keen understanding of ethical HR practices

Benefits:
