    Job Location: Phoenix, Arizona or Remote, Work from home, United States Summary: The Epic Application Development Lead Analyst will primarily be responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining Epic’s Healthy Planet, MyChart & Ambulatory modules with emphasis on innovations and analytics strategies. Qualified candidates must be certified in EpicCare Ambulatory. Additional certifications in Healthy Planet & MyChart modules are strongly preferred. Analyst will participate in the planning, testing and scripting needed with Epic system updates. This includes working on incident break-fixes, special updates, optimizations, software release notes & any other system required enhancement. The analyst will also assist with completing assigned deliverables related to strategic technology initiatives as well as contribute to material for end-user training. Desired candidate should possess strong analytical skills and have experience working with clinical staff, operations & other business end-users. Responsibilities: Lead small to medium complexity Epic build projects to implement enhancement requests Support Epic application incidents reported through the help desk Participate on application on-call rotating coverage as required Coordinate application support with other information technology teams including Infrastructure, Integration, Reporting, and the help desk Implement changes using documented standard operating procedures Act as a technology subject matter expert clearly communicating concepts between and across different audiences while influencing outcomes Maintain up-to-date project documents for initiatives that include technical details, user expectations, project goals, work effort, accountability, and deliverables Research issues and use independent analysis and judgment to produce solutions Participate in and frequently facilitate and/or organize team and cross-team meetings and maintain appropriate meeting records Partner and establish rapport with clinical staff to implement Epic enhancements Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Systems, Electronics Technology, Computer Engineering, Health Information Management or equivalent work experience Certification and experience with EpicCare Ambulatory module required 2-5 five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience as follows: EpicCare AMB certification – experienced in build, troubleshooting, and maintenance Healthy Planet build – registry metrics, regulatory, population health management – certification preferred MyChart build & system maintenance – certification preferred Experience with 2 or more major Epic upgrades or implementations highly preferred Ideal candidate will have experience with workflows, Radar dashboards, connection to 3rd party vendors, EpicCare link, and Compass Rose/Care coordination. Excellent written, oral, instructional, presentation, and interpersonal skills focused on motivation and positive attitude Knowledge of Epic Software as well as other information systems, clinical software, and computer applications used in a health care setting Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Understanding of Epic build change management process (CAB) This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
