    Job Description

     Cimarron is seeking a SYSTEMS ENGINEER to provide requirement allocations to the various design teams supporting the Exploration Upper Stage during execution of the product definition phase for the SLS program in Huntsville, AL.

    KEY DUTIES:

    ·        Ensure design compliance and system performance.

    ·        Generate allocation reports from the Integrated Core Vehicle Specification and End Item Specification to the various design layout teams in concert with the design development schedule established by the program to achieve the required Critical Design Review (CDR) maturity.

    ·        Support verification planning with Detailed Verification Objectives required to achieve the required CDR maturity.

    ·        Generate Detailed Verification Objectives for the Integrated Core Vehicle Specification, the EUS End Item Specification, and Interface Control Documents.

    ·        Develop Interface Control Document for CDR to support design development through analysis of design layout artifacts and validation of design compliance to interface requirements along with documentation development capturing external and internal interfaces.

    REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION:

    ·        Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.

    ·        5 or more years of experience with requirements and verification using a requirements database tool such as DOORs.

    ·        Experience creating Interface Control Documents (ICDs).

    ·        Experience attending virtual product reviews to understand design, analysis, and pending changes.

    ·        Experience generating Detailed Verification Objectives including, description, objective, verification of constraint and issues, support equipment as needed, qualification/acceptance, and owning organizations for verification activities.

    ·        Experience coordinating with design teams on design configuration and layout design intent.

    ·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    ·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related science/technology discipline from an ABET accredited program.

    DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION:

    ·        Previous Boeing and/or aerospace experience.
