    ****Responsibilities for the Accounting Bookkeeper

    • Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
    • Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
    • Perform full-cycle account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
    • Conduct reconciliation of all bank, credit card, and vendor accounts on an as needed basis
    • Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data
    • Analyze financial data for business operations and budgets
    • Maintain accounting controls and interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards and legal requirements
    • Assist with administrative tasks related to the organization’s real estate office
    • Complete special projects as assigned

    ** Qualifications **

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 3-5 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping; accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
    • Proficient skills in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel required
    • Healthcare experience is a plus
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills; high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    • A professional, positive attitude and ability to take initiative when the situation presents itself
    • Excellent prioritization skills and ability to self-manage and execute tasks with limited assistance/unassisted
    • A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality

    What you'll do:

    • Manage all aspects of Accounting Process including Cash Control, Invoicing, and Bank Reconciliation.
    • Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis.
    • Compile and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
    • Prepare various financial reports (income statement, balance sheet).
