HVAC Service/sales technician with commission and benefits
Job Description:
We are seeking Professional Service/Sales Technicians to join our team. Must deliver a high level of customer service to our existing and new customers on emergency service and routine maintenance visits. Recommend immediate and preventative system repairs and system upgrades and explain how they benefit the customer. Design and sell residential replacement systems on service as well as sales appointments. Bring in new clientele through community outreach, customer follow up, reviews and referrals.
Pay is $20-$55/hr. + commission with paid time off, benefits and training. Earning potential is between $110-$150K+ per year for top performers. This is not a subcontractor position. Position Responsibilities:
Clearly and consistently communicate with customers and office staff
Repair and maintenance existing HVAC systems
Occasionally install residential and commercial HVAC equipment
Perform minor to moderate electrical and plumbing repairs
Sell and install indoor air quality products and system upgrades
Diagnose and improve ductwork related air flow issues
Run accurate load calculations for residential systems
Design and sell residential replacement systems
Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadlines
Maintain a properly stocked and clean service van daily
Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
Pursue educational and development targets
Prospect and contact potential customers
Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
Set follow-up appointments to keep customers engaged and active
Take part in emergency on call rotation and weekend follow up hours
Perform basic routine vehicle maintenance, cleaning and record keeping
Assist other technicians with technical support
Qualifications:
Technical school graduation or experience required
2 years experience in residential HVAC service and sales a plus
Must have and maintain clear driving record
EPA 608 certification type I and type II required
North American Technician Excellence certification preferred
Excellent diagnostic skills
Familiarity with CRM platforms/dispatch software
Ability to build high rapport with clients
Military veterans given special consideration
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry 100lb. routinely
Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights up to 30 ft.
Must be able work in small confined spaces and in occasional extreme temperatures
