We're looking for a Writer–Cinematographer who works natively in a remote, modern production workflow.
You'll write short narrative scripts and produce cinematic visuals using remote tools, virtual production methods, and digital filmmaking techniques to bring each story to life.
Your work shapes the next generation of short-form cinematic news, combining strong writing with visually powerful storytelling.
Write short, cinematic scripts (30 seconds) based on real news stories.
Develop shot lists and visual concepts —mood, pacing, tone, framing.
Create cinematic footage using virtual and remote-production tools.
Work with remote production workflows to assemble scenes and assets.
Storyboard, sequence, and refine narrative beats for clarity and emotional impact.
Respond quickly to breaking news , adapting scripts and visuals under deadline.
Maintain Streamlly's signature style —human-first, respectful, cinematic.
Experiment with new creative techniques , tools, and visual approaches.
Strong writing skills—clear, emotional, tight pacing.
A cinematographer's eye for composition, lighting, and movement.
Experience with virtual/remote/digital filmmaking tools (cloud editors, remote shoots, virtual sets, etc.).
Ability to craft compelling visuals from creative direction alone.
Fast, organized workflow; comfortable producing daily stories.
High sensitivity to real-world human experiences and ethical storytelling.
Background in film, journalism, documentary, or content creation.
Experience with digital storyboarding or virtual production environments.
Familiarity with short-form narrative or documentary formats.
Ability to deliver consistent visual style and tone across stories.
