Job Description
Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of test automation systems, the creation of software tools and test infrastructure used to perform feature verification and regression tests and driving quality-centric methodologies in the software development process. Ensure the delivery of high-quality software across the Lucid Marketplace platform and be responsible for building and executing test strategy and plans across multiple products while working with engineering teams to identify and resolve defects. Investigate software, hardware, and system problems using a variety of techniques and provide innovative solutions. Evolve the product code quality and internal execution efficiency by
implementing Object Oriented design principles, refactoring, Unit testing, and test-driven development. Design test tools to optimize test efficacy and coverage. Build a test-driven engineering culture that drives improvements in quality. Work with development team leaders to develop test plans and approach for products and present the quality perspective. Prepare appropriate documentation as required by internal product development processes and regulatory agencies such as ISO. Initiate technology evaluations where needed to make sure key technical decisions are approached with proper due diligence. Work in an Agile environment, maintaining code using Git repositories, and tracking the progress using Jira. Utilize the following tools/technologies: Java 1.4, Javascript, Maven, Log4J, Github,
Postman, IntelliJ IDEA, Dbeaver, Visual Studio, and Jira.
Position requires domestic travel up to 10% as needed and customary for the occupation.
Position allows working from home anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications
The qualified candidate must have at least a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related field. The qualified candidate must have at least 6 months of experience in a software engineering position, or closely related occupation. The qualified candidate must have at least 6 months of experience with all the following: (a) testing, debugging, fixing, and maintaining software processes, codes, and programs; (b) testing software applications; (c) working in an Agile environment; (d) maintaining code using Git repositories, and tracking the progress using Jira; and (e) utilizing the following tools/technologies: Java 1.4, Javascript, Maven, Log4J, Github, Postman, IntelliJ IDEA, Dbeaver, Visual Studio, and Jira. All experience may be gained concurrently.
*In Lieu of a Master’s plus 6 months of experience, a Masters degree plus 3 months of experience as well as a certification in Java SE 11 Developer will be accepted
Additional Information
Anticipated Salary Range (US Only):
In California, Colorado, New York City and Washington, the anticipated pay range for this role is $100,000 to $110,000 annual base salary. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, New York City and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.
