RESPONSIBILITIES

Cinteot is seeking a qualified candidate will become part of Cinteot's Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective and secure business processes. Cinteot's DSCM program encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical and administrative support to aid and advise DoS Cyber & Technology Security (CTS) Directorate. This includes protecting a global cyber infrastructure comprising networks, systems, information, and mobile devices all while identifying and responding to cyber risks and threats. Those supporting Cinteot's DSCM program strive to leverage their expert knowledge and propose creative solutions to real-world cybersecurity challenges.

The Cloud Systems Administrator role will be located in Beltsville, MD.

What you'll do:

• Provide Tier 2 support on systems issues to ensure the functionality and performance of cloud systems.
• Regularly apply patches and updates to cloud services and infrastructure as directed.
• Assist in verifying the compatibility of updates with existing configurations and applications.
• Ensure all cloud environments maintain basic security configurations and best practices.
• Support implementing and maintaining cloud security controls.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications- To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• Requires a Bachelors degree in Information Technology and at least five (5) years experience. An additional 4 years of experience required with no degree.
• US citizenship required with the ability to obtain a interim Secret security clearance before start date and the ability to obtain a Top Secrect security clearance.
• Possess or obtain before start date one of the following certifications:CASP+, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA, CCNP Security, Security+, CEH, CFR, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), Cloud+, CySA+, GCED, GCIA, GCIH, GISCP, or PMP.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in an Azure environment
• Experience with deploying infrastructure as code.
