(This job could turn to full time) Job Details We are looking for an service oriented and enthusiastic individual to provide high quality, timely, reliable, dependable, responsive help desk services to our customers. Looking for someone with proficiency with working on an IT Helpdesk, being dispatched to the field to help with Windows desktop, Internet, Email, Microsoft Office 365, iOS, Routers, Printers, Wi-Fi, etc. The IT Specialist shall query callers and using Helpdesk system to keep track of tickets and resolutions, solves IT first level service requests and shall also field other non-technical regional help desk requests as required. Duties included but not limited to:-

    • Inspects personal computer equipment and reads order sheet listing user requirements to prepare computer for delivery.
    • Installs or assists in installation of hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on user's premises.
    • Loads specified software packages such as operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Virus protection Software into a computer.
    • Answers client's inquiries in person, email or via telephone concerning systems operation. Diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems.
    • Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction.
    • Travel within 150 miles of San Diego Country (if needed)
    • Taking customer calls, troubleshooting IT issues, and filling out support tickets
    • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds Qualifications:
    • Driver's License and clean driving record required
    • Reliable transportation
    • No remote work (Staff needs to be onsite)
    • Candidate MUST reside within ½ hour (30 miles) commute to San Diego, CA
    • Eligible candidate is subject to background verification
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (proper business ethics and ability to speak professionally with clients)
    • Maintain a clean and presentable appearance
    • Ability to produce clear, concise and accurate documentation, notes and reports
    • Windows OS, Office Apps knowledge as well as office 365.
