    Track and Trace Specialist - Team Lead

You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team that designs and implements logistics operations that efficiently run shipments around the North America for major well-known clients This role supports the efforts of our office by providing visibility and maintaining accurate documentation for all loads, communicates with customers, services managers, technicians and management on a timely basis regarding the work performed. You will work within company software for scheduling and documentation purposes.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    Main daily tasks, other duties may be assigned.

    Proactively oversee scheduling/dispatching data base review and begin coordinating the loadboard schedule

    Ability to engage a team that covers 300 - 1000 trucks routing them efficiently to various jobs site throughout the country

    Able to complete the daily jobs schedule meeting the deadlines

    Communicate with customers and customers service representatives regarding the schedule and any special jobs instructions.

    Communicate with customers and technicians on a regular basis.

    Assist with phones, administrative work as necessary.

    Works as a team player and continually thinking outside the box regarding the schedule.

    Updates schedule utilizing excel spreadsheets

    Qualifications and Skills

    Must have minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, preferably in the logistics/trucking industry

    Must have had a role in supervision, lead or manager in prior positions.

    Must be a self starter, detailed oriented and able to work under deadlines.

    Experience in requesting Revised Rate Confirmations for Lumpers, Layovers, and Detentions is preferred, but not required.

    Must be computer literate, proficient in Microsoft based systems; word, excel, outlook and others may be required for this job.

    Understands mapping and able to route various jobs in the most efficient manner.

    Ability to make accurate changes to schedule when an urgent last minute job changes.

    Ability to work in a fast paced environment and can work under pressure.

    Always communicates with customers, vendors, co-workers in a friendly professional manner.

    Must have college degree or equivalent.

    Other essential duties may be assigned.

    Bilingual is a plus
