As a Entry Level Account Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment coordinating customer freight with available carrier equipment, negotiate rates, establish long-lasting relationships.
Job Description:
Provide and negotiate freight rates to Van and Flatbed Truckload carriers and work with our Customer Sales team to ensure maximum profitability
Research available carrier equipment and match it with our customers’ freight
Establish and maintain a personal book of your own network of carriers
Procurement of new carriers based on volume and lane density
Communicate effectively with motor carriers and Customer Sales Representatives;
Strong grasp and market knowledge of shipping lanes, geography, and seasonality
Desired Skills:
Above average computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Suite
Email efficiency: strong writing skills, attention to detail, ability to organize all your written communications in Gmail and Google Drive
Time management and organizational skills: ability to multitask
Outgoing, engaging, a team player.
