We leverage our technology, industry experience, and employee ingenuity to develop industry-leading transportation solutions.What We Are Looking For:As a team we are looking for driven people who have GRIT, TENACITY & A DESIRE TO WIN!The Logistics Credit Specialist will review potential and existing companies to determine their creditworthiness and the impact on the company’s portfolio. The Credit Specialist’s performance is measured by the number of credit decisions for new and existing customers, post-mortem analysis of bad debt write-offs vs. credit intake decisioning, and the ability to increase revenues through new credit arrangements. This position requires extensive collaboration with sales agents to create the most successful outcome for all involved.

    Responsibilities:

    Review, approve, modify, or decline credit review requests within established credit authority.

    Escalate to revoke lines of credit upon receipt of external information pertinent to the financial strength of accounts.

    Make recommendations to management on credit lines outside of Credit Analysts authority.

    Review extended term requests and provide approval or declination based on risk, payment trends, and profitability. Analyze account portfolio of multiple active accounts, and review credit risk and aging deterioration.

    Work with outside vendors from collection agencies to credit reporting agencies. Assist in pulling credit reports, financial analysis, etc.

    Qualifications:

    Associate degree or equivalent relevant work experience. 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    1-3 years in Customer Service / Supply Chain preferred.

    Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, strong attention to detail

    Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving skills in an entrepreneurial manner and the ability to think outside the box

    Proven ability to build and maintain cross-functional working relationships

    Proven ability to translate best practices into internal and external process improvements

    Strong written and verbal communication skills
