Transportation Business Analyst/Intern - Part-time
Analyze customer information within the company to transform raw data into business strategies and identify opportunities to maximize ROI. Responsible for executing campaigns within Circle Logistics current and potential customers strategies, with an objective of growing the company’s customer base.
Duties:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Support analytic efforts related to forecasting, segmentation, and optimization to drive sales and ROI by extracting patterns in data to drive strategy and operational efficiencies.
Utilize analytical tools to develop meaningful customer and channel insights, detect anomalies and recommend actions
Utilize and develop reports and analysis to identify trends, opportunities and provide actionable summaries of key findings on a consistent and proactive basis. Define, measure and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Prepare and present findings to senior management, enabling informed decision making by preparing and performing ad-hoc analyses
Leverage all data sources to identify customer segments and optimize marketing campaigns
Create standardized, objective-based templates for marketing reporting, allowing learnings to be used cross functionally.
In conjunction with manager, determine marketing mix modeling process by building dashboards to track marketing spend and effectiveness, joining data from multiple sources
Interpret requests to properly develop, plan, set-up, execute and analyze marketing campaigns and programs
Execute list selection based upon defined parameters for e-mail, direct mail, phone campaigns.
Drive continuous improvement and recommendations going forward for marketing team initiatives
Assist with implementation of Marketing Database enhancements
Partner with other business teams to help with various tools and automated reports related to model performance and analytics
Conduct quality assurance testing
Manage relationships and coordinate with vendors
Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Ad-hoc reporting and proficiency in presentation development
Understanding of multi-channel marketing and merchandising disciplines including direct/database marketing, internet.
Advanced PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office Applications, and Microsoft SQL Server and programing concepts such as Boolean logic and operators etc.
Knowledge of campaign management (strategy, execution, reporting)
Passion for data and analysis and how it contributes to the overall goal
