We are looking for a full-time Project Coordinator to work in our Orange office. The candidate should be someone who can grow with us professionally and is eager to learn more about communications and marketing for the public sector, as well as CEQA/NEPA and long-range community planning. We are passionate about the ever-changing landscape of communications and engagement and continually strive to challenge the status quo. We are looking for like-minded individuals to join our team.

This is an entry level position for our company, and is one with a tremendous opportunity for growth. You will work closely with members of various project teams to plan and staff community engagement events, draft copy for fact sheets and other materials, manage social media accounts, and much more. We work on campaigns and projects throughout California to raise awareness about important issues. We  inspire people to get involved in their communities and to adopt more sustainable behaviors, such as reducing waste, conserving water, and riding transit.

This position is perfect for someone with one to two years of experience with public outreach, communications, journalism, and/or social media campaigns who wants to work in a fast-paced, consultant environment to make a difference in communities throughout California. 

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO IN THIS POSITION:

• Collaborate with project team to identify client needs and execute action items based on those needs
• Support project managers on a variety of projects, with lots of opportunities to learn new skills
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the industry and client business needs
• Write compelling copy, including fact sheets, web and social media content, and ad copy
• Help plan and host engagement activities in the community, acting as the public face for many projects
• Hone your research skills on a wide variety of community issues

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, journalism or related field
• Experience in California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and/or National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Urban Planning
• Fluency in other languages a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office
