    Why This Role Matters The Circuit Court Litigation Paralegal is responsible for driving cases through the litigation phase with precision, urgency, and accountability. This role ensures every case is actively progressing, procedurally sound, and fully prepared for trial or resolution. This position directly impacts case velocity, attorney leverage, and overall case value. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment, understands Virginia Circuit Court procedure, and takes ownership of outcomes. Responsibilities: What You Will Do • Manage all procedural aspects of Circuit Court personal injury cases • Draft and file Complaints, Motions, Discovery, Subpoenas, and related pleadings • Ensure compliance with Virginia Rules of Court and all statutory deadlines • Coordinate the service of process and track returns • Maintain litigation calendars, including hearings, depositions, and trial dates • Draft and manage interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission • Organize, review, and summarize medical records, bills, and key evidence • Prepare attorneys for depositions, hearings, and trial (binders, exhibits, witness coordination) • Coordinate expert witnesses and deposition scheduling • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and providers • Maintain accurate case data and workflow tracking in Neos • Identify gaps in evidence or case progression and escalate proactively • Ensure files are fully organized and trial-ready ahead of deadlines Qualifications: What We Are Looking For • Minimum 3-5 years of Circuit Court litigation experience (Virginia strongly preferred) • Strong knowledge of Virginia civil procedure and filing requirements • Experience drafting pleadings and managing active litigation caseloads • Experience in personal injury litigation preferred • Medical malpractice litigation experience is a plus • Familiarity with Neos or similar case management software • Comfortable with legal AI tools as a support resource • Strong organizational skills with strict deadline discipline • High attention to detail with a zero-defect mindset • Professional communication skills • Ability to operate independently while contributing to a team-driven, trial-focused environment Compensation: $50,000
