Qualifications
The ideal person would most likely be a Senior, C#/.NET Engineer, who has been working with Node.js and APIs for the last few years. Ideally the person would be working for a software company and have prior eCommerce and advertising experience.
MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS
- You must have 7-15+ years of development experience.
- You must have senior, expert level Node.js and Javascript experience.
- You must have experience and be highly proficient in designing and building comprehensive, scalable, secured and cross functional APIs (REST, JSON, WEB SERVICES).
- You must have experience developing machine learning and artificial intelligence components within an application using languages like Python, Java, R, Lisp or Prolog
- You should be extremely self-motivated and drive through rapidly changing requirements typically found within innovative business units.
- Knowledge and Experienced in implementing CI/CD methodologies
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and analytical skills;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in Scrum and Agile development
MEDIUM TO LESSER QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience designing and implementing Ecommerce solutions including Shopify, Magento, Stripe and Braintree.
- Knowledge in application integration services like: PaaS, Enterprise Service Bus and Messaging brokers.
- Knowledge in API security standards and implementation including Oauth, OpenId, SSO and SAML.
- Experience in API Performance Monitoring and Alerting.
- Experience in working with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services environments.
- Experience working with Frameworks and Libraries including Swagger, Strongloop and gRPC.
EXTRA CREDIT QUALIFICATIONS
- Mid-senior level Python experience
- Mid-senior level Web Sockets experience
