Overview Cirkul is a rapidly growing beverage technology startup that relies on a dynamic global supply chain. The Supply Chain team is focused on delivering the best product to our customers through attention to detail in our cost, capacity, quality and production from raw materials to finished goods. As a Supply Chain Associate , you will help Cirkul to develop and maintain strong relationships with our vendors. Our team must carefully balance our needs to reduce product costs and risks while ensuring high-performance, reliability, and continuity of supply. In this role, you will interact with members of our engineering, marketing, finance, and manufacturing teams to develop and execute production plans. Responsibilities: * Negotiating with suppliers on cost and production plans to meet supply commitments Managing our material pipeline from upstream suppliers to contract manufacturers that support our in-house final assembly and fulfillment * Manage new part tool and equipment capacity budgeting, planning and bring up plans * Develop supply plans to optimize supplier allocations based on comprehensive audits of capacity, performance, and pricing. * Identify cost down opportunities, develop detailed business cases, and execute to proposed plans * Provide frequent and concise updates to internal stakeholders on supply chain health * Initiate and complete supplier audits to ensure their ability to meet part performance and on time delivery * Partner with the engineering team to improve specifications to ensure quality components and design for manufacturing Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or other relevant fields * 2-5 years experience in supply chain, demand/production planning, or related leadership roles * Fluent in supply planning best practices * Expertise in spreadsheets, database, and ERP software * Ability to balance detailed component analysis with strategic supply planning * Demonstrated ability to problem solve complex, real life, and situation problems. * High standards for accuracy, precision and organization * Extremely organized and able to coach others on organization * Experience negotiating and holding suppliers accountable * Excited to source, contact, and evaluate potential suppliers for quality, reliability, and capacity * Demonstrated ability to work across organizational and functional boundaries A Little More About Cirkul Cirkul is a rapidly growing beverage technology company on a mission to make a healthier world by helping people enjoy drinking more water.
