The Sales/Business Development team is responsible for driving the revenue pipeline, as well as sustaining the talent pipeline at CirrusLabs. This group is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will grow their careers within the company. We want to learn more about you, and we want to see a future Account Executive.

    The Sales Development Representative will partner with marketing and sales and drive lead generation, appointment setting, lead qualification and sales support to the Sales team. This position requires heavy outbound phone calling, qualification, consultative selling skills follow up and tight collaboration with the management team to generate new clients and maintain the existing customer base.

    The SDR will be expected to report on qualification and call activity and stay thoroughly informed on all products and services and have experience calling into large enterprises (5,000+ employees).

    REQUIREMENTS

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Own and lead management and prospecting activities
    • Research, identify, and prospect for New Clients
    • Meet or exceed opportunity/ appointment quota through phone & email prospecting & lead qualification
    • Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including calling guides, audience segmentation and approach
    • Qualify interested candidates and arrange sales appointments
    • Schedule quality appointments and Meetings
    • Track all relevant qualification and lead management activity using hubspot.com (including calls, prospect pipeline, account notes, etc.)
    • Quickly learn the technical aspects of the services we offer and effectively communicate the value proposition and be able to react to objections, competitive questions and other FAQ's
    • Proactively manage your schedule, leads pipeline, and campaigns in order to meet milestones and quarterly objectives
    • Collaborate successfully with Sales and Management team to optimize team selling productivity
    • Provide value added market intelligence to the Corporate & Product Marketing teams

    JOB ROLE

    • Interact with prospects via channels such as telephone, email and social media with a high attention to detail
    • Researching companies, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities
    • Transform leads into qualified opportunities by partnering with marketing and sales to create and execute on program and outbound lead generation campaigns
    • Track all relevant qualification and lead management activity using Hubspot
    • Report on lead qualification(s) and call activity
    • Have thorough knowledge of CirrusLabs products and offerings to effectively communicate value propositions, handle objections and competitive questions
    • Be informed about the technology industry
    • Consistently achieve qualifies opportunity quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives
    • Collaborate and communicate with the marketing team

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2-3 years of proven excellence in business development, inside sales and/or sales
    • Experience in B2B sales is preferred but not required
    • Experience using Hubspot or comparable CRM strongly desired
    • Strong understanding of SDR and lead development best practices and procedures
    • Proven ability to perform successfully given low oversight and limited process
    • 100% reliable and detail-oriented.
    • Strong consultative selling skills
    • Positive can-do attitude and tireless work ethic
    • Driven and self-sufficient
    • Adaptable to the startup environment with the hustle attitude, dynamic/diverse environment, potential for broadened responsibilities and, of course, work hard play hard attitude

    PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES:

    • Demonstrated ability to deliver above expectation results in driving pipeline revenue opportunities for enterprise software level deals
    • Demonstrated ability to conduct extensive cold calls, email campaigns, and navigate org charts
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
    • Creative tactics to reach the executive management of enterprise IT
    • Team player with solid communication and presentation skills
    • Strong skills in data analysis & sales tools use
    • Ability to share best practices, continually improve processes and messaging, and provide clear and consistent reporting to Executive Management
    • Ability to work independently & proactively in a dynamic and aggressive startup environment

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    • BA/BS degree
    • Prefer someone with previous sales or telephone prospecting experience
    • Working with selling solutions that are services based is a plus
